Critics of payday and automobile name loan shops are asking the Dallas City Council to aid alterations in Texas legislation to cut back whatever they state are unfairly extortionate rates of interest and costs.
Based on Dallas officials, automobile title and loan that is payday areas are more typical in Texas than Whataburger and McDonald’s — combined.
But a market trade team claims the companies are thriving because clients require them.
